Fletina - Courtyard Barrel

Courtyard Barrel' is a 15-minute long environmental sound collage, based on field recordings that were taken from the courtyard outside a friend's apartment building.
This piece is primarily centered around the resonant gong-like sound of a wooden mallet striking a steel barrel, but you will also hear a plethora of surrounding noises (some manipulated, some raw) that were used to build the atmosphere and create a distinct sense of location and space...
